RUMI LIGHT Participates in the 2026 US-Japan Deep-Tech Workshop and Startup Panel
Rumi Light Inc. participated in the “2026 US-Japan Workshop on Deep-Tech Innovation and Partnerships,” held in Tokyo from August 25 to 27, 2026, and hosted by the Institute for NanoSystems Innovation (NanoSI) at Northeastern University.
The invitation-only workshop brought together deep-tech startups from Japan and the United States, along with investors, government organizations, industry leaders, and members of the innovation ecosystem.
The program focused on a wide range of advanced technology sectors, including semiconductors, photonics and quantum technologies, advanced manufacturing, robotics, energy, and sustainable materials. Participants exchanged perspectives on cross-border collaboration, strategic partnerships, investment, and commercialization opportunities between Japan and the United States.
RUMI LIGHT was featured as one of the Japan-based startups on the official participant page, where our technology and business initiatives were introduced, including DataFlux, our PCB-free high-speed interconnect platform designed for next-generation AI infrastructure.
In addition, RUMI LIGHT was represented by Co-Founder and COO Jacob Lo on the startup panel, “Building and Scaling Deep-Tech Startups,” held on August 26. Moderated by Susan Schofer, Partner at SOSV HAX, the session brought together deep-tech leaders from Japan and the United States to discuss the challenges and opportunities of scaling deep-tech companies and expanding into global markets.
RUMI LIGHT will continue to advance the development of high-speed interconnect technologies for AI and next-generation computing infrastructure, while strengthening collaboration with companies, research institutions, investors, and strategic partners around the world.
